The Neon Venus Improv Troupe and Teams (Auditions and Shows)

We're looking to form Neon Venus Improv teams, which will do a monthly showcase at our venue for the public and the industry.

We will set up an audition with you, just let us know how much Improv training you have had. Tell us the schools and class levels that you have passed. 

We would like to meet actors who have had Improv training, but have yet to find teams to perform in venues around town. If you would like to audition, please email me at neonvenusarttheatre@yahoo.com

Right now many teams from local Improv schools perform weekend performances from 7pm to midnight, some teams also perform during the week. 

Our venue has a great warm and intimate vibe, and Improv groups enjoy their performances at our space.  We're looking for the stars of the future, and are striving to bring the public and the industry quality performances, as well as to start our own house teams. 

There will be no membership, dues, classes or sales of tickets, though part of the training will include promotion of shows (cause it's Show BUSINESS!).

ABOUT THE IMPROV PROGRAM DIRECTOR LISSETTE (Co-owner theatre)

·         Comedy training includes classes at the Groundlings and training with Jeff Conaway (Taxi, Grease), whose assessment of her as a natural comedienne has fueled her artistic pursuits in comedy.  Currently plans to act, write and direct sketches for a Neon Venus YouTube monetized channel.   She has booked (and evaluated) hundreds of Improv shows performed at the Neon Venus Art Theatre.

·         Co-Owned entertainment and hospitality businesses since 2005.  Opened the first Neon Art Theatre in Las Vegas in 2008.

·         Started performing on stage as a singer in 1997 (with Neon Venus), in The East Village of New York City.  Have been a live performer for the past 15 years.

·         Got on a stage for the first time around 8 years old.  Though as a teenager she focused her performance through becoming a member of the National Team of Synchronized Swimming of Puerto Rico, which allowed her to participate in several Central American Games, Pan Am Games and qualify for Olympic Games.
