15% of the art sold will go to the Tree People and 15% will go to the Neon Venus
Art Theatre
REPRESENTATION FROM THE TREE PEOPLE.ORGWILL BE AT THE OPENING
We will have representation from the Tree People.org at the opening. They will
have a table and explain more about what they do. It’s great to build a
relationship with them, because it may lead to other projects. Come on down and
meet the folks and learn more about saving the planet.

Environmental Art Exhibition:
TREES R’ US EXHIBITION (Sunday SEPT 19th, 1-5pm, Melrose, Hollywood)
Vision with a Mission is a group of artists that have come together from the
Hollywood Painting, Photography and Mixed Media meetup to market and exhibit
their art pieces which relate to environmental issues, either by showing the
beauty of what the artists want to preserve or by inspiring their work on an
environmental issue that needs attention. The artwork in these exhibits embeds
the message of a non-profit, that deals with any issues relating to ‘Saving the
earth’, and for our first exhibit we selected as our non-profit the Tree People
of Los Angeles. They focus on the planting and caring of trees and also on the
retention of water, and they lead community efforts to achieve these goals in
the Los Angeles area. In support of those goals, the artists are featuring water
and trees in their work, for a collection of different points of view that make
our walls a cohesive and interesting showplace to watch.
The goal of ‘Vision with A Mission’ is to create and to promote art that focuses
on an environmental theme, in order to start a dialogue with the community on
how it can come together to resolve these threats. Our artwork portrays our
mission in a positive, beautiful and educational way, as opposed to expressing
messages of doom.
